hi, sorry wasnt sure where to put this topic.

you know how on every programming job you end up using a site kind of like github. where every one can work on a project same time.

i know how to use github, and red dot. Should i put it on my resume? if yes, than what are those website called?

Git is a Version Control System.
GitHub is a "web-based hosting service for projects that use the Git revision control system." (Wikipedia)

Nonetheless, I would refer to GitHub as a Version Control System (VCS).

RedDot which I've never heard of - is a Content Management System (CMS).

The terminology is pretty lax />. If you ask any two programmers they are likely to give different answers. For example, RedDot could also be referred to as a (form of) VCS.

I'd go with "Project Management System" for sites like GitHub. GIT in itself is a VCS. Sites like GitHub add other features that are not typically a part of the VCS, aimed at managing the whole project not just the code. Things like setting up teams and tracking issues.
