Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown?

Posted 22 January 2013 - 02:08 PM

This would happen on occasion, but only when I would be away from my computer. I would anticipate my desktop to go into sleep mode (as I have had it set to), but it is shut down completely instead. Why is it doing this? It says it is a Bluescreen error.

Bad ram?

Also there should be dump logs (at least an address to them in the error) somewhere "C:\Windows\Minidump\..." and "C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Local\Temp\...". Those would help people understand what's going on.

Went over my head. I have never thought it to be a RAM issue.

Here is a screenshot of the BSOD report if that helps.

That is usually caused by bad RAM, change your RAM and it should be fixed.
