Hi guys, am doing a site for an old friend in wordpress and wanted to know what you thought about my custom theme..

url is secconstructionco.com or fixyourshorehouse.com both point to the same site


I wanted it to have a "beachy" feeling but I realize the gradients might be too much..

I still have to do the contact, special post listing and work gallery post listing pages but have some of the functionalty running.

None of the links work: Only the home page
The info displayed in the browser tab is "bootstrap 101 template" and not "SEC construction - Home" or something similar.
I like the colors and layout. It has a 'beachy' feel.

Hmm.. yeah.. those gradients are not good. I would almost advocate using a light paper texture in a different color.. like a light blue or something..

I know only the Home button on the Nav works but check the links in the footer, those are most recent posts for "specials" and the "gallery" . The specials is just a image and description while the gallery is a slideshow of images and description/text.

Yeah.. I gotta fix the title to be dynamic with whats being viewed but like I said it isn't finished.

I like the paper texture idea..maybe i'll look into that..if I can find it online - it'll make it look better in older IE versions as well ( because I'm using css3 gradients atm)

So the website is completed.. now just figuring out if I wanna replace the background gradient with a paper look..

Well, as far as the entries that will be up to the client after I train him to update wordpress with content.. I ment the functionality and layout

Not a fan of the gradient esp in the nav bar. The content part of the website is nice and the footer needs more work.
