Dim SADS As String = Txt_SADS.Text


You doing this in the class scope before anything has been created. Remark out that line and see if you get the same thing.

You're going to probably want to declare 
Dim SADS As String 'where it's at and then in the form_shown use
SADS = txt_SADS.Text
