Shocker.. they reintroduced a bill from last session that didn't make it through. That totes never happens. Ever.

Nah, happens pretty much every time. After SH, national gun regs were brought back. After crazy cop in CA, 10 statewide regs popped up again. (new material they left out the first time)
Seems like the pattern is:
Try to do something no one wants you to do -> "Give up" -> Do the things that validate the thing you wanted to do -> Do it harder -> Win -> Profit.
I think it's formally referred to as "Problem, Reaction, Solution"
