Question: Handling Custom tag library with JavaScript rather than Java

I am trying to find a way to use javascript as a tagHandler rather than using Java classes (extending TagSupport) to handle the custom tag lib, basically tld file invoke in JSP.
I do not prefer to use Java rather use JS(or AJAX, JQuery, JSON) as a Handler in Custom tag library.
