How come no one shot the attackers?


Also, I'd love to know what the guy who said, "We're keeping an open mind as to the motive", was thinking of when he said it. My guess: The attackers were bored.

Odd that with more than a million cameras in London they weren't IMMEDIATELY able to identify all involved.

Y'all out to step up the patrols. Maybe stuff like this wouldn't happen anymore.

You do realise that not everyone carries around a gun in England don't you?

And I bet they do know everyone who was involved. But they're not exactly going to broadcast that to everyone before they've caught all of them are they?

It's pretty popular in the states to not only name them, but put up pictures of the offenders, too.. You know, so that everyone knows who they are so that they can, you know... tell the authorities where to find them... Fairly effective system, as it turns out.

Turns out that its just as effective to you know... not put up pictures everywhere to let them know that they are being looked for, because you know.. they might just do a runner and make the whole process take twice as long.
