C++11 Universal References - Scott Meyers

Post icon  Posted 29 January 2013 - 09:44 PM

I saw this a while back and thought I should post it hear. It does a great job of explaining some of the details of rvalue references and when and why to use std::forward instead of std::move. Scott presents the idea of a "universal reference" as a new kind of reference. It's a lie, but it's a useful lie.
