All new tutorials submitted from this point forward (and a few from last week) are worth 50 kudos.
We will scrutinize tutorials more closely and award 50 kudos for each accepted tutorial. We will rarely just reject a tutorial. We will provide feedback and encourage you to revise or fix any problems we see, but in the end, your tutorial will be accepted and live forever in the dream.in.code tutorials database.
Remember, 500 kudos gets you a free DIC++ subscription. DIC++ is the premium membership that gets you a sexy badge, @dreamincode.net email address (hosted by GMail), and many other lovely amenities.
So, just to recap... tutorials are worth 50 kudos. Snippets are worth 25 kudos.
Now... go forth and write.

How/Where do we cash in on the 500 kudos? I just want the badge!

You can provide users with web space(increasing space with increasing Kudos) or you can add their name somewhere on the homepage as permanent contributors( I believe we had that earlier ) or some monitory benefit

Yeh, I actually need to re-add the top 10 contributors.
I may be able to come up with some sort of gift certificate for xxxx kudos or something.
Let me mess with the top 10 list for now, I'll keep an eye open for rewards for >500 kudos.

If I do get a badge I promise to subscribe to DIC on an annual basis
after all I get so much out of DIC and contribute so little
but I didnt want to just buy the badge, I want to feel I have earned the right
to wear it.
