I'm just wondering, since this laptop is coming up 2 years old now and I'm expecting some kind of degradation, whether the temperature readings I get would be considered normal. Laptop is a G53Jw, temperatures listed are in bounds (low/high) - low bound is a cold room, high bound is in a hot room (should I be noticing a difference?). CPU is an i7-740QM, GPU is a GTX460m with 1.5GB GDDR5
ACPI-THRM - Idle: 45c/55c
CPU - Idle: 45c/55c
Gaming: 82c (it never seems to matter)
GPU - Idle: 50c/55c
HDD always stays a solid 35c to 45c (WD Caviar Blue, 640GB), and my SSD doesn't appear to be registering any readings (OCZ Agility Plus R2, 120GB)
Anyone have any insight? Should I be looking at having anything done at this point?
[Note] It's worth stating that a small load - browsing and spotify - registers a CPU and GPU temp of about 55c ish.
