I'm new to Flash CS5 and was looking for tutorials on how to create the stage so that it looks like an elementary school classroom. I want it to be simple because there will be words that appear over the top of it. My idea is to have what looks like a hardwood floor and the wall would grey brick then be mostly a light colored blue to appear as if they are windows. On the left hand side of the room would be on single desk. (I tried to attach a .jpg image of a desk to give a guideline as to what style I'd like the room to appear but I keep getting an internal server error when trying to upload)
Can anyone point me in the right direction for a tutorial on how to do this? Or give me a step by step tutorial on how to achieve this? It need not be fancy as I can work with it once I have the basics down. Tweak and modify it to my liking.

I can set the stage to one background color but from there I'm not sure how to go about the rest.
