Internet Explorer doesn't want to execute JavaScript

Posted 31 January 2013 - 05:40 AM

Before you say it: Yes, it's enabled.

A lot of people appear to be having this issue - Internet Explorer suddenly decides it can't execute Javascript. I've ensured it's enabled and re-registered jscript.dll and jscript9.dll to no avail. I'm on Windows 8, but apparently this seems to be hitting anyone with IE9 or 10. Unfortunately, this is now preventing me from running any of the Metro Apps, and a lot of other MS software that (quite stupidly, if I say so myself) relies so heavily on Javascript.

Anyone got any ideas, it's driving me insane now.
