I think too many kids in the U.K. rush into sex and end up with babies at 14 so you should wait until you are comfortable and you are doing it for you and your partner not what your friends think or because of reaching a specific age.

The only caveat is that those who are still waiting in their 30's have missed out on some of the more energetic sex...but it never gets old. I'd still rather a woman than a Wii

it is best to lose your virginity in a year in which your age multiplied by her age is a prime number. otherwise it's really bad luck and your more like to catch the hivvies.

That's a good question, and one that is different for every person. You know when you know...no one can tell you when the time is right - there are no parameters that can be assessed accurately to provide a definitive answer.

If you feel you are ready, then you probably are.

Usually Marriage is a great way to determine that you are ready to devirginize. Might be old fashioned, but I'm sticking to it. Also, that way if a kid pops out, you'll have more grounds covered. Whatever you choose, though, being a virgin isn't the end of the world.

I waited till I was 18.

My mom had me at 17 and it was really hard on her growing up.

But if you are not married The benifits of safe sex AKA the proper use of condoms will help prevent STD's and unintended pregnancy.
