Speech to text using vb.net

I taught of developing an application to do away with typing with microsoft word (Speech to text) with vb.net and do not know where to start from. I have been programming visual basic 6.0 for a few years and now am using vb.net. Any help will be appreciated thanks in advance.

I have not tryed this out but, I would check out the (Microsoft Speech Platform SDK 11 Documentation). Here is the link.
