What language and operating system are you on? What have you tried or researched so far?

I'm using VS C# 2010 and I'm on XP.
But I'm getting out of Delphi language. Then I would like to show you a little bit what I have been programing in Delphi. Then need to converte that in C#.Net.
For my reports I'm using the report builder 3.0.

//make a filter on column's name
myTable.Filter:='name=' +quotedstr(edit1.txt);
myTable.Filtered:= true;

//after to make filter, show me on my report all datas filtered
myReport1.Preview;

//when getting out from my report, actualize my table
myTable.Filtered:= false;
