Not a fan... I dig the initial sort of circle thing, but after you get into it they just become crude nav markers... the colored outlined boxes are also annoying..

Maybe it's just the dull gray background that annoys me the most.. or the use of 'comic sans'. Probably a mixture, but yes.. novel-ish idea with the first-page circle things.. but those seem to go nowhere..

....The fact that you used Comic Sans period turned me off within .02 seconds. Closed the tab out of reflex. That is the single worst mistake you can make for a professional portfolio, with the possible exception of background music. Choose a professional font, you're a professional and not a gradeschooler making powerpoints.

Edit- Spelling mistakes galore, half the code in the background makes no sense, such as image tags with breaks in the title elements and other such things.

I agree with Lemur in that, the comic sans makes your website look very simple. I like the java script and the sliding and such, but the basic comic sans writing and the color scheme sort of make it look like it has been drawn with a crayon. You want your website to be sleek and modern, especially if you are advertising for your programming skills. Using the java script looks impressive to most normal users which is good, you just need to complement that with the content of the website more.
I think that the background is also a bit "open", on the first page in particular, it feels like your site has no bounds and although the circles look nice, for someone like me who likes to see lines and squares, I don't like that style much. If it had more of a clean white background or something that highlighted the colored circles more rather than dulling them, I think that would look better.

Overall; Not a fan of the comic-sans, I don't like the colored borders around the different sections of the website, they should be more uniform and suit the background a bit better, or use a set color scheme which doesn't remind me of primary school (sorry, but it is true). I do like the way the site is done with java script though, although you might want to put a bit more explanation on the front page, it is the front page which people see first and you don't have a lot there to attract more clicks.

with a bit of touch-up, this website could be good!
