I was originally going to post this in blogging, but then I realized that this may have something to do with the DNS settings/Zone Files.

Basically, if I have a Blogger set up to have a dedicated url (whatever.com), I can't send email to an email address of the same domane (contact@whatever.com) because it's redirecting the email request to Google's servers instead of a server that I choose.

Is it possible to differentiate between a web request and an email request from the zone file and send the request to either the Google servers or my on server, and if so, how do I do this? I am using GoDaddy for both the domain as well as the server to which the email should be sent to.

You want to set the mx records in the dns for where you want the email to go.

Who do you use for your mail server? Google as well? I have my blog on Blogger too and I use Outlook.com Custom Domains. See example of the configuration here: http://www.sdkit.com...in-with_29.html
