Now thats an explanation i can use. i already got the picturebox method working, but i will look into doing a Tile class,(if i do, mine will have some newbish extra code ,but whatever.)

This means i can make properties named Width and height to define the tile size and then asign an image to it via a picturebox, for example?

You make an Image property so it knows what to draw for that tile and even have several images. Possibilities are endless!

Well yes, but the only way i knew i could assing for example an image property to an object i created was defining that object as a picturebox.

What do i have to put in the "Set" of the image to make it able to hold pictures?
my idea is
"Imports system.drawing"
"value = Image"

I have to start meking the class to have an idea.. ill come back later
thank you

No not true. Think about it a picturebox is a class object itself. You will be in charge of painting/rendering though.

I love your clear responses by the way.
For this project i would choose not to do this.

Im in highschool and its a final semester project. Other students are gonna do a funny mix of labels, pictureboxes and hiding and showing form.
Im going so overkill whit this project that any little accomplishment i make is mindblowing for everyone else that has studied in my class.

Thank you though, ill keep it simple this time.
Pictureboxes work well for now. Its not perfect, bur works.

No worries. If you do decide to to try it later you will be amazed at the result. And i found GDI+ to be challenging, but fun. Good luck with your project. It has some good images in there.
