I need help buiding my sight! Please Help!

Hello,

I could really use some help. I am fairly new to web development. For the past 3 months I have been studying HTML, XTML, and CSS. I have a fairly good grasp of these markup languages. But my question lies in the progression of language and markup languages I need to know to start an E-Commerce business or website for that matter. I am about to embark on learning Javascript, but what should I absolutely know in order to be well versed to run my website. I'm thinking, HTML, XHTML, Javascript, ASP.net, CSS2 or CSS3, C#, VB.net, PHP, and mySQL?

Any feedback would be greatly appreicated. The more detailed you can be the better. Thanks!

You should eat carrots to help build your sight, but the languages you listed will be fine to build a site.

If you're looking at e-commerce I'd leave Javascript well alone. Concentrate on XHTML/CSS and the server language you'll be using (such as PHP or ASP.NET). Until you know what you're doing with those, Javascript can be a bit dangerous to play with :)

Wrong place buddy. Can't you see he is asking for help too?

Hey Trojans, I would listen to serializer. Javascript is probably not a good idea.
