I'm using a simply .htaccess rewrite file that just lets me use http://mydomain.com/about instead of http://mydomain.com/?page=about
I have a couple sites running on my ubuntu apache server that it works just fine. but when the default virtual hosts is used (the one in my sites-available folder) the rewrite doesn't work. I've checked error logs and all it says is that 404 about can not be found.
Is this a restriction of apache or is it a settings.
Thanks for the response!
