Cannot use a "user control" in my toolbox.

Posted 18 February 2013 - 11:38 AM

I created a "user control" in another C# project, which I saved. When I opened another project and tried to read that control into the toolbox, it wouldn't let me. I tried several things. 1) Add the .dll to my references, it had no effect, 2) Right click in the toolbox and select "choose items", and browse to the .dll. When I do that I get the error "There are no components in "...." that can be placed on the toolbox.". Can you help me get my component into my project? Thanks.
