Hello...again :)

Hello! I am very new to Java and dream.in.code. I am taking courses in IT so I can learn Web Design, and Java is my first class. I am really enjoying my class, however, I also know that I need to study a lot as Java and coding is so new to me. I appreciate any and all tips and resources. Thank you! :clap: :rockon:

Welcome to DIC :)

Glad to know that you are enjoying programming...:)...that attitude will enable you to learn concepts far more easily than your counterparts who think programming is a burden.

Well, now that you are here, you can certainly learn a lot from the questions and suggestions posted by the members.

Well, as for the resources, I would suggest you go through the Java tutorials to get more insight on the wonderful language Java.

Looking forward to seeing you around in the forums :)

Welcome, NewGirlXtina! So, which is it - Java or Web Design/development? Java is programming applications, where web development is, well, developing web sites and applications.

Thanks for the welcome and the link to the tutorials, I used your link and have already found some very useful information :) I look forward to learning more and home Java becomes a second language for me someday :balloon:

Thank you for the welcome! I am going into Web Design (trying to get a Masters in it) and Java is a required class. Although, sometimes people do change their minds on their major....who knows, I may change my mind. But for now, I am enjoying learning Java :scooter:

Thank you Jon! I have already received so much support when I was not a member just by using dream.in.code as reference, now that I have joined I am so happy and I hope I get so good at Java that I can start to help others here too!
