So i am currently using Xamp for mysql and phpmyadmin.
I am trying to create an "admin.php" page that will update my "index.php" page(only the news form).

I found this tutorial that seems to be pretty efficient;however, it seems to be missing some key components(or im just a total noob ).

Should I be looking more into php tutorials on this topic or mySQL tutorials?
Is there any videos or links you might be able to share with me to aid my quest?
