DBMS question

I think the answer is C because the syntax for WHERE suggests :

SELECT column_name(s)
FROM table_name
WHERE column_name operator value

therefore WHERE Author = "Lucas Bailey"

would notify any members which have read her book.

seems like the answer..

C is indeed the correct answer, but are you able to say why A, B and D are incorrect? Each of them has a syntax issue that would cause an error.

The answer is "A" because all the three tables must be used to meet the librarian needs.

No it is not, because A is not a valid part of a SQL statement. Yes, all three tables are needed, but that is NOT the question.

Compare the tables listed in "A" to the tables in the question.
