As of right now I am registered for the Nebraska Codecamp and will be heading down on the Saturday. North America TechEd is out of the question (wedding that weekend), and one of these days I'll hit SIGGRAPH.... but not this year.

Just got back from the Nebraska Code Camp.. over all not bad (for free), but the keynote speaker Ted Neward was hysterical in the opening discussion on rethinking enterprise learning while his break out session on esoteric languages was a riot.

The other most helpful/informative was a talk on "Using MonoGame to Develop Games for All (or Nearly All) Platforms" by Kevin Grossnicklaus... focusing on the spiritual (and actual) successor for XNA - Monogame.

I did corner the Microsoft rep there.. he was infuriatingly tight lipped about what is coming up for 'post XNA', but did mention the information will drop out in a few months when a more solid news on the new xbox happens. Ugh.. that or he didn't know and wanted to sound cool. Either way not a bad Saturday of geek elbow rubbing.
