Posted 08 August 2007 - 05:07 PM

Hello All!
I have a problem. A friend sent me some HTML documents with video embedded. I wish to save the video but do not know how to extract it from the document. Any help would be appreciated.

Thx

I'm a little confused here, if he sent you the files wouldn't that mean he sent the videos as well? I've yet to hear of video "embedded" into the html, Ive heard of html pages showing videos (with the help of other technologies, i.e; Flash) but the video isn't "embedded" into it

What I meant was that whenever I try to save this file my system will only let me save it as an html document file. Note: this was sent to me in an e-mail . I only want to save the video portion. I have already printed out the text portion. How do I extract the video portion so I can save the video only to disk?

Look at the html code. If you have no idea what it means, ask for help on the html forum.

Videos are normally sent in an e-mail as an attachment.
All you do is click "download" and an mpeg-4 file should find its way to your hard drive.
