error 3343, in visual basic 6

hey!

I'm doing this visual basic project.
till now i've created tables to my database through visdata manager.

but now when i want to creat a new table it says-

"The following error occured:

Unrecognized database format: *the file path*\db.mdb
Number 3343"

What does this mean? and is there anyway I can rectify this?
