how can a (.txt) file converted to (.cpp) file?

Maybe change the extension to .cpp?

Sounds like a windows user who's still got explorer set to "hide extensions of known file types".
http://windows.micro...name-extensions

Renaming foo.txt to foo.cpp typically results in foo.cpp.txt (but still broken as far as the compiler is concerned).
