Very interesting read, also joining and helping out in a forum like DIC would help alot. Knowledge you can gain from here in valuable especially with experianced members from all parts of computer science.

Thanks for this list. I am entering university in just a few weeks as an undergraduate Computer Science student, hopefully these tips will work to my advantage.
