I live in the silicon valley and I'm a college student. I've been in school for 4 years only doing my general education cause I didn't know which career to pursue in life. I realized I love games and I love computers. Always have. This year I started on the path to majoring in SOFTWARE engineering to hopefully find a career in a world wide gaming company like BLIZZARD or RIOT GAMES. Now this path is an extremely long one and I've wasted time already but better late than never. I'm not really sure where to start or where to go, besides taking the list of classes to a BS in software engineering. I guess I'm joining every computer forum and also searching for internships everywhere. I'm just looking for advice anywhere I can get it.

Maybe be more specific on what sort of advice you want. You were all over the board and double backing on yourself there.

Yeah-- you didn't exactly tell us what you want to do. Develop games? Design games? What do you want to do?

If you want to get into Blizzard, QA is a good way in. But you have to like QA, not see it as a way to get somewhere else.
