I posted about using keylistener without a gui.
The reason is not a keylogger and that you would just assume that for no reason is ridiculous
so I'll post again...
I'm trying to implement a digital signage system that will work by automatically opening
Chrome on the signage page in full screen mode. If you do this using Java, at least on Ubuntu,
there is no way to exit full screen mode without doing something unnecessary like logging out
and even that seems to work intermittently.
How can I kill the process another way?

The simple answer is that you cannot use a KeyListener without a GUI. As I already answered in your other thread, any ways to accomplish this task would involve the same methods as implementing a Keylogger. Regardless of your intentions, we will not help you on this per site policies regarding potentially malicious software.
