Hi
Can someone give me some hints about how to do the following
I have a 3 by 3 grid and want a list of all the possible routes, of at least 3 squares, around the grid starting anywhere and moving to an adjacent square (not visited before) including diagonals.

Your assignment is to do this in VB6? You're deliberately going to school to learn a language that's been dead for a decade? Should this be moved to VB.NET?

Why have you assumed things in your extremely unhelpful answer?

Well- Its a common homework assignment.
VB6 went end of life years ago. That's not an assumption, that's a statement from Microsoft.
I simply asked if posting in VB6 was a mistake like so many other new members make and if you wanted it moved to VB.NET
But ya know what... Never mind. Given that stick up your arse I doubt there is little that I can offer to make it up to you.
Someone please tell me why I make the mistake of trying to help firt-day-rookies when such an overwhelming percentage of them respond like this guy?
Why to not get involved in first day noobie questions.

I'll admit I don't talk down to rookies like they are kids and its my job to make sure their fragile ego's are protected. But I honestly don't see anything in my first post to illicit the OP's response. Oh well. Some people wouldn't be happy if they were hung with a new rope. I'm not trying to be the guy's best fishing buddy. I just asked if this was really a VB6 problem or should it be moved to VB.NET, like so many posts that wind up in VB6 because the poster didn't know the difference.
