How to change text from available to not available in table (HTML)?

Posted 09 March 2013 - 06:25 AM

How to change text from available to not available, what I mean here is when users click "available" text in the table their will redirect to form to input such as name, id and so on. After that available text from the table that users click will change to "not available" to tell others user that area is already booked. It almost like booking ticket system if the maximum number is reach it will pop up appropriate message. I want to use javascript or asp but I got no idea.

Hey.

That kind of system will require a server-side language, like PHP or ASP.NET. Do you have any experience with such languages? If not, then that would have to be the first thing to learn.

You don't really need Javascript for the system you are describing, but it could add convenient features to it. I'd recommend putting that off until you've got the basics of the server-side programming down.
