Should I update every single file deployed?

Posted 14 March 2013 - 10:11 AM

Every time I add some new functions into a website,

I should deploy this website again.

Then I always copy the every single file deployed to update the website on the server.

But I am just curious whether it is essential to do this ?

What I know is that the 「bin」 directory is necessary.

What about others?

Could I just pick up those 「*.aspx」 that I have modified to update?

Does it affect the website running ?

You should only need to deploy the dll into the bin folder and put out the .aspx pages that were changed.
