April has proved to be a challenge for me so far. I have only been running twice this month so far. Weather and odd work work hours have stopped me. I did jump rope some of the days I couldn't get out to run. I also have been doing more body weight workouts. Still stuck at 172-174 but noticing my body is toning up well. Just got to get back to running again.

That's a lot of veggies. Are you doing the paleo diet? I can't bring my self to eat the same thing everyday and I love cheese, rice, and potatoes too much to stop eating them all together. I have cut back on them and expanded my diet to new fruits and veggies.

nah, nothing specific like that. i'm not nearly dedicated enough to pull that off.

the cups are full of stuff for shakes, just pop those in the personal blender cup each night, add some almond milk or oj, maybe some greek yogurt and peanut butter, and go.

My new peanut butter inspired heartburn attacks cured that for me. :( Didn't start happening until a few short years ago.

Told hardcore runner coworker about my issues with running, why I hate it, and how I suck at it. I never thought I'd have to watch YouTube videos about how to run. Well, shit, I've been doing it wrong all these years. No wonder I hated it. Tomorrow morning I will practice this "form" thing I keep hearing about. :P Apparently I'm a heel-stepper.

It's always my calves that give out on me first. This might be my revelation. And sorry about not posting the vids. I was still "researching" the bestish ones.

This ones good starting at 2 mins in. Dude just brags about his races at first. Then it moves on to proper form.


Really good drills. I did track conditioning in high school for a few weeks. I never put 2 and 2 together to realize these were supposed to help form also.

Midterms week is sapping some of my energy, but still pushing through! Working my way back up on the Overhead Press. Next week will be fighting for a personal best with a full workout at 120lbs, and I'm now 5lbs short of my Squat goal of 250lb! Once I cross the 250 mark will be resetting back to around 220 to work more on form and come back up the ladder.
