Hi to all,

I wrote a code to send a mail with the use of smtp class in vs.net 2005
the namespace is Ssytem.net.mail

I want to receive the mail delivery notification in my application by dynamic or static. any one know about this, pls share your ideas with me.

Thanks in advance.

You actually have 2 options here, you can request a delivery receipt

MyMailMessage.Headers.Add("Disposition-Notification-To", "returnreceipt@return.com")

Or use the built in DeliveryNotificationOptions method

MyMailMessage.DeliveryNotificationOptions = DeliveryNotificationOptions.OnFailure

This will send an email to the "from" address if the delivery failed
