I am still shuffling through a wicked awesome hangover (I blame mostly on the series of chilled Smirnoff Caramel shot) and there is a report of "suspicious people being suspicious" in the building. I, as the closest to the locked door, was told to keep an eye out and not let people in all willy nilly. As if I do anyways or don't, occasionally, work as a bouncer at night. *sigh* Thankfully I have tomorrow off.

Wicked hangover on a Thursday? I'm impressed. I decided it was a good idea to use Irish cream in my coffee this morning because I guess I'm out of sugar so I'm feeling pretty good. Plus I just bought like 10 books about web design and paid about 70 cents so good day so far!!

Reminds me of this mad Dub that I used to play music with. "Ooh, I must have had a bad pint last night. I think it might have been the eighth one, or maybe the ninth..."

Reminds me of the reason I don't drink tequila. I don't know which shot turns me into bad me, but I know that the number of shots I have > the number of the shot that makes me bad me.

Had a good day today. Was off work because I worked all last weekend. Got a email from a company I was looking at in Austin. Got to to talk to the first person in the hiring process and I think it went really well. Have an interview tomorrow with another company that will be interesting since it is a "group" interview. I am imagining some reality show but with really low production value. Got a bunch of other stuff done too that needed to be done. Good Thursday.

Hanging around, drinking, coffee, waiting to see whether they'll lift the "shelter in place" order so I can go in to work, assuming work decides to be open, considering the deranged nutcase wandering around.

I am patting myself on my back for calmly explaining to a coworker that his phone's irregular barking of "bazinga" was driving me to the brink of sanity and not giving into impulse of grabbing the device and jumping up and down on it.

Now on to the penance for taking off Friday - a email box full of "ultra super magenta important" emails.

Just lost the morning trying to get documentation changes published to the server they live on.
Apparently the network guys flipped a switch over the weekend, which disabled FTP (in favor of SFTP). Would have been nice if they'd mentioned this, don't you think?

You should offer politely to give him a moment to put it in vibrate... so he'll know it's ringing after you shove it up his ass.

@supersloth - watch out for cascading air delays. The FAA furloughs kick in and with every employee losing a work day every other week means less planes taking off/landing. Delays are already setting up.
