Fatal error on publicOutput.php [line 1637]

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/dreaminc/public_html/forums/admin/sources/classes/output/publicOutput.php on line 1637

Clicking on the 1 Year Membership award returns the error, by the way. Other awards that I've checked are working, but I haven't checked all of them.

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

My guess is that the query that executes is not optimized/indexed. The number of members that will have that badge is pretty big.

Also, whilst we're on the subject -- I see lots of people who created their accounts in 2011 but still haven't received the badge. What's up with that? Is it because they were inactive?

I believe the initial award was a one-time query that applied it. I do not think that there was a cron job set up for it.

That's fair enough. Are any other awards no longer awarded? I know that monthly reputation awards are given out, and the occasional pragmatic solutions award, but it that it?

Just curious.

The member timeframe awards aren't given out regularly because of the sheer quantity of members, and the cron job isn't configured to handle it. There are 10-12 of us on the team. We cannot possibly get to every member ourselves, and only skyhawk133 has access to the cron job. If a member mentions something, we can definitely take care of it, though.

Well, I certainly don't envy you guys. It's a big flock, and awards are only a miniscule part of the Dream.In.Code experience. It's certainly no hassle to anybody.

If something comes up, I'll PM one of you, but I was just curious as to how the system worked.

Now I know, thanks!

Edit: Ah, thank you for the award. ^~^
