OnClick Event with Jquery UI

Posted 26 March 2013 - 07:50 AM

Hi Guys,

I developed a site for work with multple panels and lots of drop downs as it acts as a checklist style site for internal use. All was working fine, until it was given to someone to re style. Now the site looks better but the buttons onclick event does not work as my colleague used JqueryUI to style the page.

If I disable the styling then it all works fine but not once the ui stying is in place.

Does anyone have any idea why or point me in the right direction?

Cheers
Codey

Have you tried debugging and seeing if anything is catching that button click event? Were you capturing the event with Javascript or code behind?

It sounds like there is a naming collision being caused by the jQuery code. Have you tried renaming your control and event handler to something that you can be reasonably certain won't exist in any of the code added?
