Hey Everyone

Posted 26 March 2013 - 11:46 AM

Hello everyone on DIC! I have been thinking of looking for an active code community, but never got around to actually looking. But, here I am now! :)

I am a 21 year old college student who is obsessed (well, kind of) with coding. I use various languages to come up with random projects that I code just for fun. I also like to help others and discuss basic to advanced programming techniques. My most recent project is a Virtual Machine that runs off of custom binary code created from an assembly like language. No clue what to call it.

Anyhow, Thanks in advance for any replies!

Thank you for the reply Imendoza :)

I am studying in Computer Science, but will focus most of my college education on software development in artificial intelligence. I will be transferring to New Mexico Tech in about a year or so.

it's Lmendoza :P

I studied CS but to be honest, didn't learn that much of programming.

AI it's a pretty hard field I guess, have you taken any course about it?

Oh, lol, I'm sorry Lmendoza :)

Well you will learn a lot from here. I find my courses in C++ and Java easy, but I do see people who are struggling. Sometimes explaining it in a different way really helps them. This is why I think students should meet their professors before signing up for their class (unless you only have one.) But that is a whole other topic.

And yes, it is hard, but that is why I love it. The challenges and dreams keep me going!
