CMD string encryption

Posted 26 March 2013 - 07:23 PM

Hello everyone :( I am so sorry but I have been looking for ages trying to find out how to do this, I have been Googling asking friends looking at scripts online and cant find it. What I would like to do is a set of varibles e.g

set djfghds=a
set ghjddsf=b
set hfjkgga=c
set kjfgfgs=A
set fgjfbgg=B
set jhgjfgg=C
set jfghfgo=1
set ufgtsgs=2
set kghjfgn=3

OK and a user input varible...

set /p userinput=

So I would like my batch file be able to let the user enter a plain string.. e.g hello my name is luke. and then for every "a" it would replace it with "djfghds" and so on so if the user entered "abcABC123" the output would of course be "djfghdsghjddsfhfjkggakjfgfgsfgjfbggjhgjfggjfghfgoufgtsgskghjfgn". I have seen people do this on Youtube. But they dont post code.

So if you inderstand what i would like to do here please help me by posting some code :) Thanks
