WiFi File Transfer Interface

Hello, I dont know if it is possible to create a program in witch you input the mac address of a winows mobile device so you can send files via wifi.

Why would you use the mac address?

So I can assign a specific ip to that mac adress, therefore saving time in settign up the ipīs in each device.

You seem to be mixing issues. The network setups up the IP so it can route packets to it, right?

Also if it is not possible doing this with the mac, could i send files via wifi thru the ip using ftp?

Well sure.. plug in "wi fi direct file transfer" and you get a ton of hits.

Yes, the network assigns a range of IPīs for the devices i want to send files via wi-fi, but I assumed that it would be easier if I input the mac of those devices
