I've seen very little of S3 on TV, but have been reading Snow & Steel and Blood & Gold recently. I'm looking forward to seeing how they do most of the weddings, but yes, the Red Wedding in particular.

Where have you heard that? Some of the changes they have made for the sake of the television adaption have actually enhanced the characters' backstories or made plots better.

Im definitely gonna watch now, to see it for myself. :)

I like the whole Pod being a sex god thing.

I just saw the first part of this (apparently it goes on throughout the series) last night, and the looks on Tyrion's and Bronn's faces were brilliant when he dropped the pouch of coins onto Tyrion's desk.

"I did lots of things with them."
"Details, Podrick...We need details..."

Edit: This seems to be another change from the books. I've read up to the end of Feast For Crows, and I don't recall Pod being a sex god in the books. Not yet at least.

Littlefinger's red headed whore... No, I think you're right. I don't recall her from the books either. In the series, she was the one who started off in Winterfell, I think.

Well, season 3 is over. What did you all think? Please use spoiler tags in case anyone wanders in here who hasn't seen the end of the series.

I thought it was great. Among my favourite scenes are:

Haven't watched it yet because the first episode seemed uneventful, but my friend who didn't read the books says this is also a great season. We will see.

You should watch it. It's really good. First episodes of a series are often uneventful. They are used to introduce people back to the world and remind them of stuff. Trust me when I say this... It gets a hell of a lot better :)

Good season.

Also, as the books go, for me, this is it. This kind of ties up all the stuff that got you really going from the beginning. There are more books, but I kind of lost interest after a bit. Think I got through half of book four.

Just got through season 1-3 in less than 2 weeks, easily one of the best shows I've ever seen.

I've read up to the end of book 5. Thanks to WHSmith's current book sale, I'll be reading Dances With Dragons soon.
