Facebook app login issues with IE

Posted 28 March 2013 - 01:59 PM

I have started to learn the Facebook (PHP and Javascript) SDK to begin making a Facebook IFrame app. This is the one I am working on now.

The app works OK on chrome and Firefox but it has some serious issues on IE 9. When the user tries to log in it will continue to reload the IFrame unitl you navigate away from it.

Does anyone know why this is? Does IE have some kind of trouble with IFrames or do you think it is an issue with my code?

I didn't know the best place to ask this as it is using Javascript and PHP. Also, if you need to see my code I will post it.

Thanks for any advise.

What happens when you chuck in:

<meta http-equiv="P3P" content='CP="IDC DSP COR CURa ADMa OUR IND PHY ONL COM STA"' />

and try it?

I tried this with the same results, in IE it keeps refreshing the IFrame until you navigate away.

I have the code here if you would take a look and see if anything jumps out.

Spoiler

Thanks for your time.

Thanks for the help modi123_1,

It works now on IE using this:
<?php
header('P3P: CP="CURa ADMa DEVa PSAo PSDo OUR BUS UNI PUR INT DEM STA PRE COM NAV OTC NOI DSP COR"')
?>

at the top of the page.

Note: I hate IE for life.

With apologies in advance, but I wasn't sure if the following was an ironic/humorous misspelling:

Countdown to arrested developmet

it made me smile though :)

A tiny point would be iOS rather than IOS but I'm probably one of a small minority who notice this kind of thing :)
