Code formating not showing up properly

Posted 02 April 2013 - 07:42 AM

Morning!
Recently when I'm reading posts with code in them the code window doesn't show up properly.
I see the code but not any of the groovy formatting colors and what not. Has anyone else experienced this or is it only me? It probably is only me but thought I'd ask first.

Thanks

Does a refresh fix the problem? What browser?

All Javascript is being loaded asynchronously now which means the entire page has to load before the javascript will execute. This causes the code formatting to "fill in" a few seconds after the page full loads instead of immediately like it had done in the past.

My code-formatting doesn't show at all, I can't use the Rep buttons (they just jump me to the top of the page) or code or any formatting-tags. Google Chrome is my main browser and I've recently cleared my cache.

No sir, refresh doesn't seem to change anything.
It seems to be only chrome that's affected for me.
I loaded up DIC in IE 9 and it looked ok. I don't have Firefox installed at the moment or I'd check that too.

I can confirm that neiter FF nor Chrome (latest versions) display the code sections formatted nicely.

and I also do not have anything for text editing (well, if JavaScript did not load ...)

just checked in FireBug, there were no external scripts loaded at all.

Are you guys that are having these issues behind work firewalls or have ad blockers running?

I'm trying to figure out what in the CloudFlare stuff we're using is causing those scripts to not load for some folks. I know they get served from a different CDN now, and we're also using the "SPDY" protocol instead of HTTP for supported browsers.

Test Code
public class Example
{
  /* A Comment */
  public Example()
  {
  }
  public int Test()
  {
    if ( Now.Hrs < 12 )
    {
      return 0
    }
    else
    {
      return 42
    }
  }
}

It highlighting not very colorful though.
Colorises if else return thats it.
Did used to do parenthesis also?
Maybe this forum is using the wrong style sheet or language.

I paused AdBlock and did a refresh and now the code came up properly.

Edit:
I turned AdBlock back on and now it does not show properly. So for me at least it seems to be AdBlock causing my issue.

K. Good info there. That actually may help narrow down the problem dramatically. Going to try turning off a couple things and see if that fixes it. Try it again this evening and let me know if it's still doing it.

Whatever you did fixed it for me. I still have AdBlock on but code is showing properly now.

Interesting. Ok. I re-routed our CDN away from CloudFlare.

I have a problem also.

Within my signature, I have code. Now the code isn't highlighting, but I'm up to date with this error, so no bad there. It's the [ indent ] and [ / indent ] that isn't working. I think that has something to do with the BBCode.

skyhawk133: Maybe you should have left Dream.In.Code on its original servers before proper tests and bugs could be routed out and fixed. And no, I won't be leaving like some people have suggested. Dream.In.Code is my home :)/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>

Oh and also, the edit editor is putting a /> every time I enter the edit editor. Seems to be putting it after : ) smiling icon :)/>/>

that bug existed way before the server relocation.
