Why don't you include your own thoughts on it first?

A site with a grouping of resources if you are trying to get a hold of someone from the marathon, for news, and etc.

http://itstactical.t...boston-marathon

As for what I think - well I think the whole thing is quite terrible.

Because I kind of did put my opinion on it. But if you wanted it expanded, fine.

Basically, from what I am understanding, some are thinking it may be a terrorist deal. My thoughts is that it's a tragic deal and whoever done it, will definitely be put on the chopping block, once they find out who it was. Right now, they don't know what kind of explosive devices they used.

And I just heard that two other devices were found but not blown up near the other two. So it makes me wonder if people aren't right about the whole terrorist deal. But only time will tell.

How many times do we have to go through this? This isn't reddit or 4chan. If you are going to post a link, please share with everyone why you are posting it. Thus adding to the value of discussion. If you have nothing to say then don't post it here on Dream In Code, post it where it is appropriate.

It's an interesting thing to note - the OP took no2's advice and just cleaned out the ol' profile. Presumably to make a home in reddit or 4chan.

(just, like, so you know the chance of the OP responding is low)

I heard about this on the radio on the way home. Truly sad. Who would do something like that?

Who? Well, pick your loonie. Some nut job who thinks that blowing people up is a good way to "send a message". Maybe someone whose religious convictions were stirred by the thought of women running around with their legs exposed, or some anti-tax nutbag who figured the marathon gets some tax dollars from somewhere (and hey, it's tax day), or maybe someone protesting Patriot Day (yes, that's a holiday here in Mass...) on the grounds that "patriotism" has killed a hell of a lot more people than terrorism, or maybe some random asswipe who just wanted to blow people up because they're crazy.

Hard to say, really. There's no shortage of crazies these days.

Truly horrific for everyone affected by the attacks.

Just read that shortly after the explosions, someone created a twitter account claiming to be taking donations for the injured. It was shut down pretty quickly but to think some people see something like this happening and only think about trying to scam people out of money, is pretty sickening.

It was too sloppy to be a terrorist attack. No self respecting terrorist group would have two devices fail. That's way below the acceptable MTTF.

Just woke to the news,

Just had Obabama on 'live from the US'

The London Marathon has sent its condolences.

I would like to do the same to those involved in the attack and their families.

At times like these we all stand together as one.

really? i feel that during times like these most of what we do is spread misinformation, rush to beat others to spread misinformation first, read misinformation, and scold others for spreading misinformation.

then say something about patriotism and love.

Well,

I never said anything about patriotism and love.

I can understand you being upset.

but I am not looking to spread information or disinformation just

think its all very shocking really.

I have relatives in the US , Canada and Australia and when anything happens like this

I think all the english speaking nations feel the same way.

It's just the way I personally feel.
