Before anything else, I have to ask why you're wanting to read a cookie from another site?

Something that will log a user's name from another website, whenever they visit your page.

The website doesn't allow PHP, so I was going to redirect using HTML to the PHP page, post the user (From the Cookie) to a 'log', then redirect back to the page.

No offense or anything, but that sounds a little fishy to me.

MySpace Tracker basically -.-

EDIT:
Could you just tell me whether its possible or not?

I need to know whether or not to just quit with my idea, or work on it for a few minutes/hours.

If it is possible, I would appreciate it if you could tell me how 0,o.

Given that I said it sounds fishy and didnt offer a solution, shouldn't that be enough of a clue to realize that I'm NOT going to offer a solution?

Ok...

anyone else have any ideas?

MySpace currently doesn't have a working Tracker, it'd be nice to release a semi-decent one.

Try it before you tell me to go to it.

I've already tried to google, and it comes up with either Creating a website with MySQL or random ads.

If others are doing, & posting code, then it should be possible. How to do it, I don't know, I didn't put more than 5 seconds into search, but I did find php code examples.

No2 he also said there wasn't one, so he's trying to create something no one else has been able to figure out.

Just because he says it hasn't been done, doesn't make it so...

I don't believe there is a working one out there.

EDIT:
no2,
1) JS doesn't work in MySpace
2) That was caused by a phisher, not a Tracker, a Tracker is not harmful in any way -.-

I now have a rough idea on how its gonna work, on everything but the multi-user interface of it.
