question on Html5 Canvas graphs

Posted 23 April 2013 - 05:58 AM

hello guys,

Been trying to research how I'd do a graph in HTML5 canvas using SQL data and one that can be quickly edited by a user. Also different users can compare their data with someone else.

Does anyone have any good articles or tutorials that may help me in creating such functionality.

Thanks for any help given

There are many tutorials and plug-ins if you search, for example, "html5 canvas chart".

You need a server-side language such as PHP to retrieve the data from your database, which can then be passed to Javascript in the page to create the graph. Ajax technology can be used if you want to create a second graph (or more) without the user leaving the current page.

It is also possible for PHP to create charts, and there are plug-ins available for this purpose.
