I've heard of a few Radiohead songs. Not really my style of music..

My brother has introduced me to Purity Ring and I can't get enough of it.

I mainly listen to stuff like Buckethead(rock/shredding), Joe Satriani(rock), and when I'm not feeling very energetic, something like Isaac Shepard(piano, contemporary) or Dax Johnson(piano, lots of chilling/depressing songs) to chill out.

Sometimes I'll listen to some Metallica or Kreator. Definitely relevant

Yes! One of my friends is a huge radiohead fan, they're chill. Not something i listen to on a regular basis though.

I'm listening to Purity Ring right now, and it sounds really awesome, something experimental in it that i really enjoy, ill definately listen to more songs! Also, you should try this song from Radiohead, or this one if you're more into rock. Also, Animal Collective, which i would categorize as experimental, with some alternative to it. I'm not Really into Hard Rock, but Metallica has some nice songs.

Like others here I'm really into electronic. But lately I've been getting more into hip hop beats and some rap.

Right now in electric I'm loving Hucci, UZ, Hudson Mohawke, and RL Grime (might even see him live soon). So, pretty much anything trap.

As for rap/hip-hop I've been liking pretty much anyone from Odd Future (especially Frank Ocean and Earl Sweatshirt). I'm not very well-versed with the rap/hip-hop area. Also listen to Mos Def and MF Doom (love love love).

I'm still clinging to my late 90s/early 2000s alternative. Going to see Goo Goo Dolls and Matchbox Twenty in August. But I like a lot of lesser know alternative stuff. Death Cab for Cutie, Motion City Soundtrack, Hey Monday, etc.

I mostly listen to all kinds of metal, but my favourites being bands from the progressive subgenre, like Dream Theater or Opeth.

I also am a fan of modern, instrumental jazz.

The music I listen to is entirely dependent on where I am and what I'm doing. If I'm coding and I can stand to be listening to music at all, it'll be jazz or classical. Driving the Jeep on a nice day with the top off, rock. Anything outdoors like grilling/smoking, winding down on the back deck with the wife and a bourbon in the evening, cruising around on the lake in the summer, country.

At a certain point, you quit identifying with a band or bands and start picking music that identifies with you and what you're doing.
