I closed it because it was pretty straight forward homework questions; something, I would hope, you could easily look up (even on those links I threw in).

I wish i could have the e mail address of the forum administrator so i would ask him that is it your policy that someone wants to know about something so he will be marked like this.

Secondly, I'm not a student, who will come here to solve his homework. If this was your guess, so its too sad to say that it was absolutely wrong and the links you provided, are already visited by me, several days ago, but i couldn't understand it.

I started that thread after so many days of searching and it is marked by you.

You guide me now, that how i will understand that what are those things?

Modi is a moderator, and we stand behind his decision. I've reviewed your thread as well, and I agree that it indicates a clear lack of effort and research on your part.

Oh thank God that Admin is here.

Well, first thing first, thank you so much for your participation in my thread. Secondly, its not like that, that i did not search and effort for it. It was my effort which put my to get the meaning of half of my question, but i couldn't find the rest portion of the i.e. e as EvetArgs.

I just wanted to clear my idea, but it was all crossed.

I appreciate the snark in that comment. I really do.

Really?

EvetArgs:

Quote

Represents the base class for classes that contain event data, and provides a value to use for events that do not include event data.

I've looked over a lot of your questions, and they really seem to radiate a clear lack of thinking or effort. Your threads, for the most part, seem to ask for hand-holding. As a programmer, you have to be self-sufficient.

The point you need to understand is that if you want quality help, you have to show evidence of thinking. Are you actually bothering to put effort into formulating questions? What research have you done? Provide evidence that you have put effort into coming to a solution.

Honestly, modi123_1 was nicer than I would have been. I would have just moved your thread to the Gimme Teh Codez forum if I came across it. I wouldn't have wasted my time providing links since you hadn't bothered to put in any effort.

This is amazingly strange. If i had an idea of something, then I'm not as free that i will ask bothering question and wasting mine and others time. If your level of education or understanding is sublime, so it doesn't mean that everybody is like you.

How would i provide the evidence of my effort, that the question is being marked as red cross.

And what is Gimme Tech codez?

If you were in a math class, how would you show your work? Seriously, we're looking for evidence that you've put in effort. What you've been providing are one or two sentences asking for people to hold your hand. I think you're smart enough to determine what constitutes showing you've made effort vs. not showing evidence of your thought process. Please don't make excuses for your laziness by blaming us for our lack of telepathy or willingness to hold your hand.

The Gimme Teh Codez forum.

Adqusit, why is it the moderators or admins fault that you lack the ability to understand such thinks as Event Arguments.

I do believe that my efforts were not as you are expecting. But i searched so many sites for this, but i couldn't find the satisfactory. This might be my lacking of knowledge that i don't pick something. But is it my fault too, that i don't have knowledge. For gaining the knowledge about something i search, i ask, i start thread, thats what i can do.

Secondly, I'm not blaming admin or moderator that they are not guiding me. I mean i never experienced this earlier that a thread is being marked as closed.

Anyways. I'm still trying to find the meaning. The wordings of your all boosted me up to get the proper information. Thank you for all of you and I apologize for any rudeness if i did. :( :( :(.

Searching not the same as Research.

Yes it is an aspect of research but it isn't be and end all.
What about Reading the Documents? Extrapolation? Experimentation? Observation? Consultation?
